Couple held for drugging commuters
MUMBAI: A couple was arrested by the Kurla GRP on Wednesday for drugging commuters and making way with their belongings. The accused, Rajprasad Pandey (51) and his wife Suman Pandey (45), do not have a past crime record but cops suspect they could have conned many people in this manner.
The complainant, Mohammad Zubair Khan (19), was waiting at the Kurla Terminus booking hall for the Kushinagar Express to head to his hometown at Siddharth Nagar in UP on Sunday.

Between 4 and 7 pm, the couple approached Khan and befriended him. “The accused would gain a victim’s trust by claiming that they were headed to the same location,” said senior inspector S Dhumal. “They would then offer him snacks laced with sedatives and rob him once the drug took effect,“ he added.
